Tahoma Font is a humanist sans-serif typeface created by renowned font designer Matthew Carter for Microsoft Corporation.
This typeface was first shared by Microsoft with Carter’s Verdana to be used as the initial font of the latest release of the window of that time window 95. This typeface is similar to the raleway font.
This typeface has a narrow body that comes with complete Unicode characters that have a really tight letter spacing. Basically, this font was designed as the bitmap font, but because of these great features, Matthew Carter converted with the TrueType outlines.
Tahoma Font is the bold typeface that is mostly used inside android devices because of its Arabic typeface. This ms font is available for free personal use.
This typeface can easily be compared with the topmost sans-serif typeface namely gill sans font. Once in an interview, Matthew Carter said that this typeface contains common features compared to his previous Bell Centennial typeface.
