Montserrat Font, created by Julieta Ulanovsky in 2010, is a widely recognized sans-serif typeface. The designer drew inspiration from the vintage posters of Montserrat in Buenos Aires.
Julieta wanted to represent the beauty of urban typography by this typeface and the franklin gothic font from the 1st half of the twentieth century. Dedication, contrast, color, care, day & night, light & life have inspired her to operate the project. Her intention was to rescue the real beauty of her surrounding signs into something that lives forever.
